Congratulations and Welcome to the New Gamma Zeta Chapter Members of Delta Omega!

Last night at the Dean's Scholars Dinner, 12 new members were formally inducted into the Gamma Zeta chapter of Delta Omega. We are excited to have inducted our second class of Gamma Zeta members and to have our chapter continue to grow and thrive!

The new inductees are:
Lisa Guth – Student – The Department of Kinesiology
Dr. Cheryl Holt – Faculty – The Department of Behavioral and Community Health
Lilia Huang - Alumni – The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics
Dr. Samuel “Woodie” Kessel – Honorary Member – Family Science Department
Dr. Dushanka Kleinman – Faculty – Dean’s Office
Matthew Miller - Student – The Department of Kinesiology
Greg Raspanti – Student - the Maryland Institute for Applied Environmental Health
Dr. Amir Sapkota – Faculty - the Maryland Institute for Applied Environmental Health
Krystle Eurie Seu - Student – Department of Health Services Administration
Eva Sharma - Student – The Department of Behavioral and Community Health
Dr. Laura Wilson - Faculty – Department of Health Services Administration
Kathleen Zook - Student – The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics


I'd like to thank our President Elect, Davi Mazala for all of his hard work in helping organize our participation in the Dean's Scholars Dinner. I'd also like to thank Ginelle Jurlano who as a Delta Omega member and SPH Alumni Association President was instrumental in making last night a success. And of course we owe a huge thank you to Gloria Friedgen for her generosity with including our chapter in last night's festivities.
